Our Mission:

Joyfully giving the children of our Creator the chance to be creative!

Art for the Nations is PASSING THE PAINTBRUSH, and now counting on YOU to continue this mission!

Our Denver storefront is closed, but you can easily duplicate these bags full of joy to take wherever underprivileged or crisis-stricken children need some fun, loving care, and reassurance that they are a valued part of God’s creation.

Please use the information on this site to create these bags of supplies for your mission or service trips. Feel free to make copies and pass on all information, as nothing is copyrighted.

ART REACHES PEOPLE BECAUSE:

*It crosses language barriers

*Making colorful things makes people smile

*It is a luxury to many who have little money or access to supplies

*Spending time creating together is an honest, simple reflection of our loving Creator

The first thing we learn about God is that He is an artist too -- "In the beginning God created..." Genesis 1

So, create often and with JOY!!

MILLION children Impacted

We have given enough supplies for over one million children to create their own works of art!

Dearest supporters and all who value the universal appeal of making art,

Craig and I are beyond grateful to have had 21 years of shepherding this idea! We marvel at its growth and know that only our Lord could have spread this simple method of reflecting His creativity all over the world.

But the world has changed, missions have changed, our ages (!) have changed, and we now need your help to continue this language-defying method of communicating God’s love. While fewer teams are travelling from the United States to spread God’s love, the opportunity for you, as individuals, remains. If you are going on a medical mission, consider the fun it could be to offer this opportunity to the people standing in line. If there is an orphanage near your travels, or if you are entering an area where children may approach you to sell trinkets, consider taking a bag full of art supplies. Creating fun projects with people not expecting such a treat could be the highlight of your trip! And, since you are a creative creation, add your touches to each bag. Pipe cleaners can be bent to form shaped animals or flowers. Slow-drying clay becomes a wonder in a child’s warm hands…So, making each 7-pound bag containing enough supplies for 50 children to complete five scripture-oriented projects is the easiest way I know of to pack a lot of love into one suitcase. The cost, at under $50, is minimal, and we have included detailed instructions to guide you through this process. Also, we are here to answer any questions you may have.
